I am searching for information on an Esther Clemens( Clemmons/ Clemans) who was a taxpayer in Harrison County in the late 1700s/early 1800 period. Does anyone know whether Esther was a widow as she seemed to be the property owner. Are there wills in Harrison County for the 1808/ 1825 period which might give a clue as to Esther's heirs? I have information from Burlington Co NJ which leads me to believe that Esther was the Esther Burroughs who married Judah Clemens but I have no verification of that .
