    2. By 1844 when your ggrandmother was born, the boundaries between VA (now WV) and PA were set as they exist today, including the northern boundary of Monongalia county. Jim

    3. Hi Jim, and All I have just about the same questions as Lou, except my ancestors go back to the 1780's Gggg-grandfather has listed PA., Va, and I've also found MD.for the place of birth? and my G-Ggrandmother born in 1834 was listed on different documents born in PA.and VA.? I would be interested in knowing, if there is a website that would list the old and new State and County boundaries? Your help is appreciated, Iris ----- Original Message ----- From: <JSample763@aol.com> To: <VA-Harrison-Monongalia-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2002 10:33 AM Subject: Re: [VA-Har-Mon] SW PA borders By 1844 when your ggrandmother was born, the boundaries between VA (now WV) and PA were set as they exist today, including the northern boundary of Monongalia county.
