Brian, I would appreciate a lookup for any information about James Johnson/Johnston who lived on Wests Run and owned land along the Monongahela River in the Wests Run area, in Monongalia Co, WV during the period of 1775 through 1796. James Johnston bought and sold land, paid taxes, was involved in a lawsuit over land with Shinns, daughter Nancy Johnson married William Robinson in 1796 and was quite active in Monongalia Co during those years.
