Jean, I happened to be inquiring about land records and read your comments. Since I am new at this research and have been having problems locating my G-grandfather who was born in 1808 in Harrison Co WVA. I traced him up to my generation but cannot find any thing on their parents. Anyway thank you for the information. Jeanne Silva
