I find a Booths Creek in Marion County which wasn't created until 1842, so that must be the location unless there was more than one Creek with this name. And, Patricia, might I ask you to look and see if there are any other McCanns listed in that book? I keep forgetting that Lewis County was created out of Harrison and not until 1816! I'm afraid to say that I'm interested in all McCanns in that area as they appear to have been the sons of a Laurence McCan who was likely my 6th great grandfather. Thanks again for all your sharing!
