I don't know of any connection, but thought I would send this information. Andrew Hawker-Hocker b 1768 migrated to OH 1801. He had a son named Abraham [Abram] who was b in 1820 in Gr Co OH. d 12-12-1871. He m ELIZABETH CLEMONS [Clemens] Jan 9, 1840 in Gr Co OH. Elizabeth was b ca 1816. She d Sept 17, 1896 at age 85 yrs 7 m 7 das. She is interred in the Hawker Churchyard. Elizabeth outlived Abraham 25 yrs & d of old age. There were 4 known children. Abram was a pioneer of Bath Twp 1820. 1. Melinda Hawker d infancy, 2, Mary Jennie Hawker b ca 1849 Feb 3 Beavercreek Twp Gr Co OH, 3. WM J or A Hawker b ca 1841 m Susan E. Hicks b 10-28-1840 & d 4-4-1901. bu Hawker Graveyard. 4. Susannah b 1842 & d 1921 m Bryon W. Stedman of Gr Co OH. bu Hawker Graveyard. My family the Thoroughman-Thurmans migrated from Monogahelia late 1700's Adams Co OH-Mason or Lewis Co.KY. Maybe this information will fit in someday.
