I'll tell you what I did many years ago. I sent a check for 5 dollars. Asked for a copy of the Grantee/Grantor pages of the indexes for the last name I wanted, in that case it was Lowden. Then when I got those pages, I ordered the deeds for those names. I would send $10.00 now, but you will get first the list of deeds. You can limit it by setting an upper date for the index pages. Hope this makes sense, but it works. And you don't have to worry about trips, (cheaper) or hiring a researcher, etc. I have done this more than one at more than one Courthouse. The address would be the County Clerk of Harrison Co. Harrison County Courthouse, Clarksburg, WV. 26301. They will refund any overpayment or bill for underpayment. Jean
