I think she was from Pendleton County, WV. They could have possibly lived in Highland County, WV in 1843, possibly in Upshur County, WV in 1847 and possibly in Gilmer County, WV in 1861. James & Phebe Lamb's children were: John A Lamb born aprox 1843 Highland County Peter B Lamb born aprox 1847 Upshur County Jacob S Lamb born aprox 1851 Mary A Lamb born aprox 1855 James A Lamb 4-27-1861 Gilmer County, WV. Not sure why so many different counties. Maybe people moved around a lot back then. I'm not sure if the info I have will of much help for a look-up.
