    2. I find a Gayle Maxine White b. 16 July 1926 who married 10 Sept. 1947 Robert Davis, then divorced. One child: Joan Davis. Gayle married 2d Lewis Anderson 21 Oct. 1969. 3. Was the Forks of Cheat Baptist Church one of the early ones started by Rev. Corbly? It seems like I saw a charter and some cemetery information on one of the W.P.A. 2. Casto, Ruby
    3. Charlotte, I remember Ida Jane Bunnell McIntyre. She had a very large goiter and seems like her second husband was a Sandy. Everyone called her Grandma McIntyre. I have never done anything on this family since it is really an off shoot but I just kept seeing McIntrye and thought about my Aunt Myrtle McIntrye that married my great uncle Charles Drain. Uncle Charlie worked at the Owings Mines and had a rather large farm up one of those hollows. He died in 1943 and then Aunt Myrtle married a Lawrence Drain. Small small world. Ruby

    3. James, No, I don't have any idea who Robert Taylor McIntyre's parents were. Myrtle was an aunt by marriage, but I do know she had a brother Nicholas "Nick" McIntyre. Very well acquainted with Lumberport. My grandparents lived on Lumberport Hill on the dirt road. They both died before I was born. You may have known Ruth Mathews and Almeda Frances Martin. Ruth also had a sister Eleanor Mathews or as they use to call it Mathis. Ruby

    3. Ruby, Do you know who Robert taylor Mcintyre's Parents were. My decendency is from Charles McIntire born abt. 1700_ 1720 through his so John McIntire and Rachel Rose. My grandfather Elias Fletcher McIntyre and his wife Ella Victoria Heldreth also my father Forest Loren McIntyre were born at Enterprise, Harrison Co. Wv. This is where Charles McIntire settled in the early 1700s, I was born at Lumberport Harrison Co Wv. About 4 miles from shinnston. The spelling of McIntire was changed I don't know the reason about 3 or 4 generations back. That is in our line of McIntyre. If you have his parents I may be able to help. I will see you later. James W. McIntyre, Florence Sc.

I don't see any death dates that go back into the 1700's in the list I have. Looks like the earliest burials there were around the 1830's. I believe that there is an earlier cem. for this church, for which I do not have a list. This cem. is very close to Route 119. Perhaps that is the one referred to as the "old Baptist" cem. Does anyone know about that cem. and does anyone have a listing? Regards, Jane [email protected]
