Sallie, my name is Richard Stracener and I live in Corpus Christi ,Tx. I just nosticed your e-mail and thought I would run this by you and see if you can do anything with it,this one is a real challenge ! . My grandmother was born in Paridise,Tx August 29,1917 . Supposidly her mother died at birth,and her grandfather raised her till he died . Approx. 4-6 yrs. later. She was put into an orphanage in Ft. Worth,and she was adopted by a family named Chaney and moved to the Rio Grande Valley where she grew up. I have been searching hi and low, I don't have a name(possibly Brown) I am currently working on this research. If you have any angles I would appreciate it. Richard P.S. this is my mother's mother
