Dean and Nell, where is this cemetery located? I have lost relatives who died in Chico. They are not buried in any cemetery in Wise Co. that I can find. I have been searching everywhere for them but have not had any luck. I know the death date is in 1899. Is this cemetery anywhere close to Chico? Julie

Sam's-Burnett- Mennerly Cemetery is located in the Drop Community, From I-35W go to U. S. 380, west to FM 156, exit south 9.6 miles to FM 1384, west for 3.8 miles, then north on Sherman Road for 0.9 miles. A wooden cow sign marks the road where you turn in to the propery that surrounds the cemetery. Landowners name is Steve Williams. We have a partial list of people buried there.
