Dear List, At a flea market I recently purchased an old cabinet card photo of an infant. The name of the child is handwritten on the back side of the card, it is James Floyd REEVES. There is also written the date of June 10, 1905. This photograph is stamped on the back with "Bunnell Art Co. Decatur, TX". I did a little census work and found an Ethel J. REEVES, age 38, widow, b. TX with four children. The first three children's names are quite unclear, so I may have them listed incorrectly. They are: Ogia O. (dau) age 16, b. TX: Nol E., (son) age 15, b. TX: Obie L. (son) age 13, b. TX: and Floyd J. (son) age 4, b. TX. I feel this fourth child is the one in the photograph. Can anybody connect to this family? I try to purchase/rescue these old photographs when I can find one that has some identification on it. There are precious few that are identified. So, all that being said, I am looking for family of James Floyd REEVES. Might he belong to you? I will appreciate any info on this family. I hope to return James Floyd to his descendants or family.
