I am searching for STROTHER MCGINNIS BOWMAN and his wife HANNAH ELIZABETH "BETTIE or LIZZIE BRANDENBURG BOWMAN who are my ggparents. I know that they were in Wise County around 1880 and both died on the same day. A letter from their daughter states that they were buried in Greenwood Cemetery. Members of their family were JOSEPHINE "PHENIE", ALEXANDER M., GEORGE ANN (who married ELIAS CADDELL son of MARTIN CADDELL and MARTHA STRICKLAND), MARY J "MOLLIE", WILLIAM (who also may have died in Wise county, and my grandfather RALPH MONROE BOWMAN who lived most of his life in Delta County, Texas. One of our mysteries is why the family came to Wise County from Kentucky. I have found BRANDENBURGS in nearby counties. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me. I have subscribed to the Wise County website
