Looking for information on Syntha Lou Holmes, wife of Samuel Russell Hudson. Who were her parents or siblings? She was born 1856 AL. Married Samuel Russell Hudson (S.R.) in 1874 in Cherokee Co,TX. They moved to Wise Co sometime late 1880's. She died 1911 in Wise Co. She is buried in Bridgeport Eastside Cem. Census reports show her parents from TN. Samuel Russell Hudson b 1854 in Cherokee Co, AL. Died 1909 Wise Co, TX. His son Leonidas Granville Hudson (buried Bridgeport Eastside Cem) is my great-grandfather. I have pretty much information on the Hudson line, but none on hers. Thanks for any help. Danna

Danna, Do you have any information on Sarah Ann Hudson who married Elijah C. Caraway b. abt 1800 in Darlington, S.C.. Sarah was born 1800 in N.C. They had a daughter, Sarah Ann Caraway b.Oct 09,1823 in S.C. who married James Alexander Hill b.1828 S.C. He was called "Jimmy Cane". I am researching the Caraway and Hudson lines. Any " light on this subject" will be greatly appreciated. Loretta, I am having a senior moment. Please be patient. :) Did I ever send you what we had found on your Caraway Family and the others you had asked about? Between the work being done at the Museum and the Break in, I have been trying to answer e-mails at home and at the Museum. I am getting so far behind in answering the mail. We have a lady that lookups and then I check everything and see if I can find anything else before I send what we have or have not found.
