Hi List, While I was sorting and doing the HTML for the latest list of marriages David E. Pitts sent for our web page, I struck GOLD! I have searched high and low for the marriage record of my paternal grandparents. I had reviewed the indexes of the Wise County marriage records for 10 years time span. No luck! Had about decide they eloped or were married in another county. Didn't find them in either Parker or Jack. I had about given up. Well, guess what?? Somehow they were not listed in the index of the record books, but since Dave abstracted the records, THERE THE MARRIAGE record was! I am so excited. (Never trust the indexes completely)... And Dave, I thank you so much, again, for what you have done for our web page...and now for my own personal research. La Darla
