    2. Hi, Joanne: Milton Benjamin was the second husband of Elizabeth (nee?) Gordon (first husband was named John). Her two Gordon daughters were living in the household in the 1880 census. I would have to look up their children's names, but Elizabeth may have been one of them (I think Betty might have been the name in the 1880 census, can't remember today). As for John Gordon Stanfield: who knows? especially since Elizabeth's first husband's name was John Gordon. He was in the CSA; the family was shown in Cherokee, TX 1860 census and later on the Indigent list for CSA soldiers in that county. Thanks for the info on Sarah Elizabeth. Sandra Perry "J.T.
