I am searching in Wise County for a LEWIS family. In 1870 The Denton County Census Precint 2 Pilot Point lists: Sarah Lewis age 43 as Keeping House and head of household. Children listed: Sarah C. age 12 At School William T. age 10 At Home Joseph age 8 At Home Malinda age 10 At Home Arthur Age 5 At Home Other older children were Virginia Caldonia, Aynurvy Jane, Martha E., George W. and Howard. All children were born in Collin County Texas. Sarah Comfort was born in 1867 and married Jonathan Lewis GAGE in Wise County around 1876. She is buried in the Sycamore Cemetery in Wise County.
