I am searching for information on my gggrandfather Jacob Blanton b. 7/12/1809. Sue was kind and sent me pictures of some tombstones awhile back. He is buried in Wise Co. next to Sarah Donnell Blanton b. 10/25/1809. I have some information on my ggrandfather Dr. John Burgess Blanton b. 2/24/1839 however I can not get further back than Dr./Rev. Jacob and Sarah. I would be most thankful for anything anyone has seen on this family. My father and mother are James Burgess b. 7/22/1894 (son of William Pancoast Blanton and Piety Elizabeth Borden) and Valeria (Sparks) Blanton b. 1/12/1899 (daughter of Swift Sanders Sparks and Mary Gertrude Rhoads).
