Julie, I am also researching my Terry family from AL to TX. William S. and his brother John Stringer Terry and families moved to Denton Co. TX after 1873 from Bullock and Pike Co. AL. They were in the 1880 Denton Co. TX census. My GGGM Mary Elizabeth Terry married Thomas Moses Boswell in AL. He is buried in Denton Co. and she in Sweetwater Cemetery, Sweetwater, TX. Thanks.
