If you are trying to find something from the orphanage in Fort Worth it is now the Gladney Home. My grandfather was adopted out of the home in Fort Worth in 1915 by a family named Brown. His biological name was Richardson, and did not know he had been adopted until World War II, after he had been married and all his children were born. He was 7 at the time of his adoption. His father died in 1913 and his mother put them in the home since she could not take care of them. I called and then wrote to the Gladney home and was able to obtain some info from them concerning physical condition and death date of my great-grandfather. My great-grandmother later remarried and had several daughters by 2nd husband. My grandfather Earl Richardson Brown also died in Corpus Christi where we were raised by him and my grandmother.
