Was the computer data backed up and also stored somewhere else? I assume it would be good to send some donations to replace equipment. Any insurance available to help pay for the loss? The visitors we had last night were so kind when they were there. Opened several doors without keys, windows that wouldn't open, most horrible of all they broke into The Lost Battalion Room. Words can't express how we feel tonight to have seen the destruction that someone did. They even took a liter bottle drink and poured on the computer, printer, and monitor we had in the office. Needless to say not sure if they can be fixed. Right now only God knows who did it and this they will have to live with. God Bless everyone for the kind words, concern and offer of support. Janet We had just gotten the computer back after being in the shop for two weeks because of a virus on Friday. Had not back up before that for fear I would only recontaminate the computer. Had not had a chance to back what we had up. I think we have most of it on a CD. Luckily we do not put a lot of data on it. We had quite a few e-mails that we were answering but had a copy of the letters on paper. Donations are always greatly appreciated as we work strickly from donations and what we sell, and our Archives where we do research for individuals. We are checking on the insurance. We have a problem getting insurance because of being a Museum in a building at was built in 1892. If we read the policy right we may have a $2500.00 deductible. We appreciate everyones concern.
