JAMES E. SPANN, 70 years, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on August 20, 2004. He was born October 30, 1933 in Bridgeport, Texas. Jim was a US Veteran, having served in the Korean conflict. Jim retired from Mare Island Naval Shipyard and was an avid square dancer with the Cypress Swingers. Survivors include his loving wife, Donna, their children and loving extended family. Visitation, 2p.m.- 4p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home.
