The 1920 census on page http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~drycreek/ed_161.htm has him living with his parents and 2 brothers in the Bridgeport area. His father is Rev. Chester R. The 1930 census on page http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~drycreek/ed-17pgs10-18.htm shows him living with his mother Bell (Margaret) in Chico. He was a stone crusher fireman.
