Deona I am descended from Bert Franklin Walker, brother of Ida Jane Walker. The Birth of Orval Taz has been a problem with me for some time. If you will notice on the Wise County Web site, his date of birth is listed as 11/22/99 but this is several years before John and Ida Jane were married. I have a copy of a small notebook or diary that was carried in the pocket of James Alexander Ford who married John and Ida Jane Walker. It clearly states that they were married February 4th, 1906. Orval Taz was not on the 1910 census. I have not located a 1920 census for John and family but an Orval which I presume was Orval Taz did appear on the census of 1930. He was listed as a laborer, 20 years of age born in Texas with father born in Missouri and mother in Kansas. Questions without good answers. Huh!! Ronald
