Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Haltom City. Burial: 12:30 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Memorials: St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 3200 Denton Highway, Haltom City, Texas 76117, or Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas 75219. Mr. Mann was born into the family of Robert Jay and Rosa May Mann, near Sycamore in Wise County. He was raised and educated in Decatur. Robert volunteered and became an aircraft mechanic in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He married Ella Marie Stone in Decatur on March 8, 1947. He retired from General Motors in Arlington after 29 1/2 years. He was a 33rd-degree Mason in Fort Worth and was the past master, a lifetime member and Golden Trowel Award recipient of the Haltom City Masonic Lodge. He was a past patron of the Eastern Star Haltom City Chapter. Robert was a dedicated faithful member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother and three sisters. Survivors: Brothers and wives, Billy J and Lavell Mann, Jackie and Ruth Mann and Ernest and Margaret Mann; sister-in-law, Leona Mann; brothers-in-law and wives, Jimmy and Kathren Sherman, Don and Glenda Stone, and Wayne and Wanda Stone; aunt, Lucy Combs; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
