It is across the street from the Courthouse in downtown Decatur. It's on a corner. When you walk in there is a counter, and to the left of that is a doorway that you go through and that is where all of the bound books of records are. From probate to civil suits to land records. You will be overwhelmed! They are open Monday through Friday. If you want to have a copy made, you take the book to the lady at the desk and she will make copies of the documents for you.
