Yes, the old red courthouse is still in use. the paper mentioned this week that they are very crowded and have hopes of building another. After Mattie's closed it sat vacant for a short time and was then renovated and Sweety Pie's (a steak house) opened in the building. It is part of the Babe's group of restaurants.
