Hi Royce, Thanks for giving the year. I certainly was not sure. I just knew I wasn't Very old ( like now), but I do remember the water was everywhere and I was Scared. I remember the flood in Ft. Worth, In 1949 and the one in Denver, CO ( where I live ) in 1965. I mainly remember the Montgomery Ward building and the Water was up to the second floor in both places and times. We all need to be really careful. They say that 6" of swift running water can wash you off your feet. Most cars will float in 2 feet of water and many cars can be washed away with swift running water that is much less than 2 feet high.
