    2. Mary Ann, I have to agree with Joyce and I still think that something is wrong. If William Emmet Johns was born in 1872 and lets say he got married when he was 16, then that would be 1888. Lets say his first child was born the same year of 1888. Then this first child would have been born the same year as the granddaughter you speak of that was 12 years old. So William's child would have been a newborn when he had William's grandchild. I think you need to look over your records again. Perhaps the 12 year old child was the child of William Emmet Johns and not the grandchild, although that seems highly unlikely too. Maybe that child was a niece. 3. Just a thought: I was reading it as 2 Williams, grandfather and son William who actually had the children. Is that possible? 3. I am sorry I did not make my self clear. Edna M. Johns was the grand daughter of William and Phoebe Johns. She was on the 1910 Census in Wise Texas with William and Phoebe. She was 12 years old. All I have on William Emmett Johns is he born in Missouri in 1872 and married Maude Carson in Wise Texas on 2 July 1893 I apologize for the mistake. I am new at this.
