I am trying to prove the George O'Dell who was married 1) Maggie Jackson and 2) Ruby Pace was the son of James O'Dell and Martha Ann Loney. According to census records, George was born circa 1880 in Texas but the s/o James and Martha was born in Kansas on June 1874 so I cannot determine if I've been following the correct George and there was bad information on later censuses. I understand there was another George O'Dell in Grayson County born in Michigan in 1866 and died in 1910 in Grayson County who was the s/o Daniel J. O'Dell and Jemimia [Mimi] Clarke. The George O'Dell I'm researching also had a sister, Mary Frances who married Andrew Wesley Gibson. Their parents, James [1834-1892] and Martha [1845-1922], are buried in Preston Cemetery. George's first wife, Maggie [1889-1913], is also buried in Preston Cemetery. According to Grayson Cemetery Index, George and his second wife, Ruby, are buried in Fairview Cemetery - no dates on index. I found Ruby's death of 21 Jan 1978 on Ancestry's Texas Deaths but cannot find George's death. Is there a cemetery publication that might have their births and deaths? If so, does someone have access who could look up George's information? George and Ruby had a son, Enoch J. O'Dell - 25 Dec 1918 - 08 Jul 1999, who is buried in the Odell Cemetery. He was married to Dorris Fay Holt and to my knowledge had one daughter - Charlotte Ellen O'Dell, b 05 Apr 1948 ,twho married a Gerald Gray Moon on 06 Jul 1968 in Grayson County.
