Terri, We have abstracted all the marriage records that we have found for Wise county. They start in the fall of 1881. See: http://www.rootsweb.com/~txwise/wise2.htm and look for "past Wise Marriages" The "Red Book" shows the date that marriages started to be recorded for each county.
