Ruth Caraway 1918 - 2007 Ruth Caraway, 89, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007, at a local nursing home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive. Burial: Mrs. Caraway will be laid to rest next to her husband, Floyd H. Caraway, in Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Ruth was born to Homer and Eda Odessa Capps Porter on June 16, 1918, in Navasota. Survivors: Her daughters, Wanda Smith, Roberta Jones, Celia Murdock and Donna Calhoun; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Laura Cote; and numerous nieces and nephews.
