Carol This is a copy of the letter I received from my sister that lives in Nocona, Montague co. Texas. She searched the newspaper for George. She is going to look for Elizabeth this week, if she can. She is a volunteer at the Library in Nocona, and because of her husband and also her health sometimes she does not get to go in every week. I am going to be out of town this week, however, when I get back I will let you know if she finds anything. Sorry I know it seems like it is taking a lot of time and I guess it is, but I hope you will be patient with us. Carla Womack, Volunteer Wise County Historical Society, Inc. P. O. Box 427 Decatur, Texas 76234 [email protected] [email protected] My home email Carla, I did find Mr. Haynie buried at Perrytown. His death date was Feb.5, 1906. Our newspaper films start March 22. It seems it is always that way when I am looking for an obit. Wish I could have been more help. But do call again. Apparently there are no newspaper records in Montague County for the dates I need. Can anyone help with obits for the following or direct me to another possible source. They are: George W. Haynie bn 22 July 1830; died 5 March 1906 buried in Perryman Cemetery near Forestburg Eliza Haynie wife bn 14 April 1838; died 24 December 1906 also buried at Perryman Cemetery The Wise County list is the very best anywhere and I thank you for all the past help you've given me and any assistance you can render on the above matter.
