Hello, I am hoping someone is researching this couple. My son-in-law is a descendant of Emma B. Roan and John Wesley Taylor, also of Maury Co., TN. John Wesley Taylor was the brother of Nathaniel G. Taylor, and Emma B. Roan was the cousin of Sarah Emily Roan. No one in his family knows anything about the Taylors or the Roans. My son-in-law's family ended up in Callahan Co., TX. I don't know when or where Nathaniel G. Taylor died. I found him in 1900 in Hunt Co., TX, but he wasn't with the family when the 1910 Denton Co., TX census was taken. Sarah was living with a daughter when the 1920 Wichita Co., TX census was taken, and I haven't found her in 1930. She died 8 Apr 1945 in Wise Co. and is buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
