Three Phillips married three Melton's William Henry Melton married Martha Ellen Phillips abt. 1876. William Harrison Phillip married Martha Ann Melton 1875 Cooke Co.TX. Squire Alfred Phillips married Margaret Frances Melton abt. 1882 Cooke Co. TX. These Phillips were brother and sister as was the Melton's.
