    3. I also have an ancestor, Nathan Middleton, who also died at Camp Douglas. Do you happen to know where Thomas Newton McCrigh was captured? Nathan was serving at Arkansas Post located at the confluence of the Arkansa and Missippi rivers. If you are interested I will share a photo of Camp Douglas and a couple of maps of Arkansas Post.
