Hello Wise County: I Am seeking information on one of my uncles on my Mothers side. Story: Edd D Newton b.1871 Arkansas Married Lee Ann Lane b.1875 Texas They had eight (8) children: Among them were twin boys Robert B Newton b.August 30, 1905 Roy Newton b.August 30, 1905 Family Story: Roy was out fishing with his dad in Wise County, when he drowned. Roy “IS” listed in the 1910 census, but “NOT” in the 1920 census. The 1910 census is the “ONLY” document that I have ever found That even mentions Roy Newton. The census says that he “was” in Wise County in 1910. Summary: Roy Newton was probably 12 to 14 years old when he died. He probably died between 1915 and 1920, (just guessing) I am not the only family member working on this. Any information at all will be information that we don’t know. Thanks: Richard Foster Fort Worth richardfostersemail@yahoo.com
