In our abstracts from the Wise Messenger there was an article which there is more in the paper which if you are interested in it I will find and make copy. a. J.M. Morris, one of the oldest settlers died at his home. In paper May 1893 b. Notice of licenses to wed: D. L. Morris, Miss Emma Green c. Marriage license notice: J.E. Collins and Lizzie Morris d. James Morris, who has been teaching last ten or twelve years, died on day last week 2. Birth records 1864-1902 There are about 23 children surnamed Morris listed, however, I am listing the ones that you mentioned names or part of names. Not sure about William Wade. These records list child's name, date of birth, sex, town born in, birth certificate no., father's name, state he was born in, mother's name, state she was born in. There certificates can be purchased at the County Clerk's office. a. Charles Blair Morris father William Wade and mother Louise Cate b. Cleatice Elwood father Jessie Whitfield mother Beyette Mary c. There are several mentions on Morris families but if you have a family group sheet or Pedigree Sheet I might be able to connect some of them for you. With no more information than I have it has been hard to determine if they are yours. Names, dates, and locations help to some extent. Again I apologize for having taken so long. I work about 2 or 3 days a week, so it is slow going.
