Oh, I am at work and don't have the dates. It is Philip Nelson--Phil Nelson. I want to say he was born in KY. He lived in TN at one time. He lived in McIntosh County, OK, and then was in an "old soldier's home" around Sulphur, OK in Murray County when he died. As for dates, he was in the Civil War. Sherrie, I was hoping you'd say McIntosh county. They have one of the better web sites in the country. I probably can't do a whole lot with what you have, but I'll look. My grandparents moved up from Wise/Montague county in Texas to McIntosh county about 1896 and live there for a long time.
