    3. Catharine Denoles Miller (Kittie Miller) was my husband's great grandmother. She married Charles More and was his second wife. They had two sons - Robert Lee More and Charles William More, my husband's grandfather. Charles (not certain of his middle name) More who married Kittie Miller lived with them part time after her death. He married first Sarah and we think Sarah may have also been kin to William Alfred Miller but we aren't sure of that. Charles William More moved to Electra, Texas and he and his wife both died there. Robert More was foreman of Waggaoner's ranch in Electra and Charles More was the oil We know that Charles More and Kittie were buried in Wise County, His tombstone is way in the back almost touching the Waggoner plot and for some reason or the other, it is facing the wrong way. The writing is on the back - not on the front of the tombstone. His children from his first marriage are also buried in that plot but we didn't find his first wife's stone. The two sons of Charles More, Robert Lee More and Charles William More both worked for Waggoner in Electra on the Waggoner Ranch. Robert Lee was the foreman and Charles W. was production foreman (oil refinery). I imagine the Charles More Miller was probably named after Charles More (at least the More part of the name). I am attaching what I have on the family. I am really trying to find out more about the family of Charles More. I keep wondering if any of his family members - brothers - might have been there also. I am the great-great granddaughter of William Alfred Miller & Mildred B. (Hughes)Miller. They had several children, some born in Hopkins County, Kentucky, the rest were born in Texas, in or near Wise County. Their son, Charles Hector (Heck) Miller, born in Kentucky, married & died in Texas. He Married Sarah Elizabeth Stacks from Ellis County, Tx. & they lived in Decatur,Tx. One of their sons was named Charles More Miller. He & his brother, my grandfather, Robert Hershell Miller married ladies that were aunt & niece (namesakes). Charles More Miller married Carrie Belle Jennings(aunt) & Robert Hershell Miller married Carrie Belle Cashion(neice). W.A. & Mildred Miller did have a daughter named "Catharine/Kittie". I noticed in reading Mr. Cates book that he mixed two generations of children together when listing them. Charles More & Carrie Belle had no children, they divorced (maybe) and he did marry again. Her na! me was "Effie" & they had 2 boys, Joe & Robert. On Ancestry.com you can look up "Lloyd Miller" Tree or just search for William A. Miller or Mildred B. (Hughes) Miller 1818 to 1890, Wise Co., Decatur, Texas you will find them buried at Oaklawn Cemetery. Some of their children & their families are also buried there in different locations. I hope this info helps put you on the right track or Tree limb. He married the daughter of William A. Miller who is in the Biographical section of the Pioneer History of Wise County on Page 279. He is mentioned there. We know quite a bit about the Millers but haven't been able to find out much about Charles More other than he was born in New York. We do know he is buried in Wise County in a plot with his children from a first marriage and his second wife, Kittie Miller who was my husband's ancestor. Betty E.
