I read your message about your mother having Alzheimer's. I am sorry that has happened. It happened to my mother about 10 years ago also. I have a suggestion about your mother's genealogy books. Look online at http://www.argenweb.net/ This is your state's U.S. Genealogy Website. Look at the County Links on the left side, and click on your county. There may be a genealogical group (society) or history group that would be glad to receive your mother's book. For the Wise County books your mother has, someone may be happy to buy those books from you at reduced cost and pay you for their book rate postage from USPS, which should not be too much. If you do not live too far from a library, the books may be donated to them. Wish you well in your health care of your mother.
