    3. Gene, Yes, I'm related to the Pitts in Prentiss County MS and Tishomingo County MS, but not related to those in Pontotoc Co. MS. Most Pitts in Wise County are from the Pontotoc line I think. My Pitts and Wrights left Wise County for the last time about 1921. The MS cemetery URL below is for the oldest Pitts family members we have found. This cemetery has been lost two times and refound and cleared of trees. Hopefully it will never be lost again. We also have Pitts buried at Mt Pleasant Cemetery & Bethany Cemetery in Tishomingo Co & Mount Pleasant Cemetery & Liberty Cemetery in Prentiss County MS.
