We've just updated some of the indexes and pages of the old Bridgeport Index newspaper that we took pictures of (over 15,000 newspaper pages are now online). In the table near the bottom of page http://www.wisecountytexas.info/bridgeportindex/old_papers.htm click on the underlined year to go to all pages for that year, or click on the underlined name of the "indexed by" person to go to a "Names Index" for that year. We are still working on some years. This is new, so let me know about links that don't work, etc. If anyone has access to old newspapers and is interested in this type of project, click on the "Imaging Methods" button at the top of the page.
