I found a birth certificate with a W.C. Helm, so I guess that he is also 'Helm', not 'Helen'. On the birth certificate it has his wife as Goldie B. Ponder not Palmer. Boy! There's so many errors in these old documents. People were very careless when they wrote them. You have to get as many sources of information as you can, and then take the best guess at some of the names !
