Does there happen to be any Wise County SHAW researchers on the list? I am a long time researcher of my Wise County lines (McNEELY, CLIFTON, HOLDEN, and CLARK), but have always been interested in the SHAW line found in Wise County around the Greenwood, Slidell and Alvord area. I dug around a few times and found this SHAW group was from MS and SC before that. Which made me more curious because my husband's line is also from MS and SC. In the 1990's I met some of the Wise County SHAW family in Greenwood where my Dad was born and raised. (And one of them had the exact same name as my husband.) Finally last night, I looked a bit further and I found the connection to my husband's line of SHAW. If anyone is working on their SHAW roots, please contact me.
