Elizabeth Caroline's dad was Garrett Stephens and her stepmother was Julia Ann Trammel. I have never found a connection to show that they knew the families back in AR. Both the Jennings and Stephens families were from the northern section of Benton Co.     3. Hi Don, Do you have the name of Julia Ann Trammel's father? I show her mother was Mary (?) Trammel. The Trammel family moved from Tennessee to Arkansas sometime after1835 and before son John was born in 1838. Julia Ann TRAMMEL STEPHENS was the step mother of my gg gm Elizabeth (Stephens) & George W.JENNINGS. Georgia Anna JENNINGS ROGERS was my g grandmother.     3. Hi Sherri, Julia Ann (Trammell) Stephens' mother Mary (?)Trammel was of Benton Co., AR as was Garrett & 2nd wife Julia Ann STEPHENS in the census & land records. Benton County, AR was created in 1836 from Washington County, AR where my STEPHENS and the TRAMMEL's were before the area became Benton County, AR. These families & more came from Benton Co., AR to Denton & Wise Co., TX.
