P of Atty means Power of Attorney Mortgage means Mortgage Bond for Title - A promise to convey land when paid at some point in the future. B for Title - same thing Deed - a document sealing an agreement, contract. Quit C. D. - means Quit Claim Deed (like a Warrantee deed, except the seller does not guarantee that the property is free and clear). Qt Claim D - same thing Quit C. D. - same thing Warty Trans - Warrantee Transfer (not sure of the distinction) Transfer Cert - not sure Will - a Will Grant - a transfer from the government to a person More detail and other terms are found on: http://www.directlinesoftware.com/legal.htm David Pitts Houston TX Transfer means a transfer of property from one person to another On Jun 6, 2009, at 11:29 PM, Mike Allen wrote: > There is a column next to the grantee with the description of the > transaction.
