Can anyone shed any light on this mystery? I thought I had located Iva Elizabeth Nimmo, daughter of Wm. D. and Nancy Ann (Ragsdale) Nimmo.  She married L. R. Dumus, based on her mother's funeral record.  I have not found a marriage record.  However, when I looked at what I thought would be her tombstone it has Iva Elizabeth (Cheves) and Leander R. Dumus.  Cheves???  The birthdate is the same for Iva Elizabeth Nimmo Dumus and Iva Elizabeth (Cheves) Dumus.    1.  I found her birth record on you website........Iva Elizabeth Nimmo born 13 Nov. 1902, daughter of Wm. D. and Nancy   Ann Nimmo, Boonsville. 2.  I have her mother's funeral record which lists Iva as Mrs. L. R. Dumus of Ft. Worth.  3.  In her father's and brother's (Robert Madison Nimmo) funeral records she is listed as Iva Dumus of Ft. Worth. 4.  I thought I found her death date in the Social Security Death Index, 2 Feb. 2000, last residence is Bridgeport.  This is the date on the tombstone for Iva Elizabeth (Cheves).  This would all seem to be a strange co-incident......Exact names Iva Elizabeth.  Exact same birth date.  One married L. R. Dumus and the other Leander R. Dumus.  Is this is the same man??  Did my Iva Elizabeth Nimmo marry a Cheves at some point and that name was put on her tombstone? Any help appreciated. Faye

Faye, Robert Nimmo was my uncle by marriage. He married my Aunt Nona Niblett. I do know he was related to the Cheves of Wise Co. I have a feeling Iva Elizabeth was married twice.
