I thought I found her death date in the Social Security Death Index, 2 Feb. 2000, last residence is Bridgeport. This is the date on the tombstone for Iva Elizabeth (Cheves). This would all seem to be a strange co-incident......Exact names Iva Elizabeth. Exact same birth date. One married L. R. Dumus and the other Leander R. Dumus. Is this is the same man?? Did my Iva Elizabeth Nimmo marry a Cheves at some point and that name was put on her tombstone? Any help appreciated.
