Book #1 started in the 1850's. Most of Book #2 lists recorded deeds covering the years 1876-1878. Names are listed under the first letter of the last name. They are not in complete alphabetical order. Look at all the pages for that letter. I see what you mean about G-1D (direct) and G-1R (reverse) being missing from the Book#1 index. I didn't find them at the end of the "F pages", or on the original discs that David sent me either. ??? I'm not familiar with the layout of those books. Guess we'll need to ask David about his numbering system. Based on the dates on G-2D and G-3D I don't think I missed a page. The early deeds start about 1855 and then run in sequence to the middle 1870's. The same goes for G-2R, G-3R, and G-4R. I don't think I missed any pages, just messed up the numbering sequence. I'll double check next time I'm in Wise County.
